And another.....

Just a really quick post. The Blue Skies Collection is just so darn cute that I had to do another page with it. When our oldest daughter was a wee little girl, my mom took her to her first easter egg hunt. She looked so cute all bundled up! This picture even made the local newspaper! Anyway here it is... I hope you enjoy it! I'll be back soon with more layouts to share!

Whew.....what a week!

Wow, what a crazy week this has been. Stressful, hectic, happy, sad. I think I've been through the whole gamut of emotions this week. I was a few weeks away from the real possibilty of being 1 of the 5,000, 000+ standing in the unemployment line. But.....thankfully a couple interviews at the beginning of the week produced a couple job offers and I was able to avoid the unemployment line. In these economic times getting laid off is a very scary thing. But there's only Blue Skies ahead for now. Which brings me to this:

That's right! The Ettes have done it again! They have created this awesome new kit called Blue Skies. It has the cutest little bunnies and chicks! Everything you need to create some great Easter and Spring layouts, cards, etc. This kit is huge! Check out the two layouts below. I used the kit to create this layout of my daughter when she was baby. (She doesn't like to be called a girly girl so don't tell her I used pink on her page!)

I also created a page from our son's wedding using the Blue Skies kit. See how versatile this kit is! You should really go check it out. And while your at the shop check out the new photo masks, clusters, and borders. They are fabulous. I can't wait to get my hands on those! You should really HOP on over there and see for yourself. You're going to love them! (http://www.ettesandcompany.com/)

Check back soon and I'll have some more layouts created with these absolutely have to have items. I can't wait to see what they come up with next!

Hey.....DUDE!!!!

The boys in my family would never forgive me if I kept scrapping pages of them with flowers and other girly elements (that's what they call them!) So I now have the perfect kit for some of those down and dirty pictures of boys being boys! The Ettes & Company just added a new kit to their store today called the Dude Collection.

Isn't it just the cutest! And it will even work for the tomboy picutures as well. I have one daughter who absolutely does not like pink! So this kit will work well for some of her picutures too!

I've created a few layouts that show you how great this collection is. The layout below is another picuture of our nephew Ben at our son's wedding last summer. He was so cute sitting by the pond skipping rocks!

Here's another one. This is of our nephew Cody when he was a wee little one. (It's amazing he's over 6 feet tall now!). He wasn't sure he liked the feel of crawling in the grass!

But I have to say I totally love all the little creatures that are included in the kit. I loved them so much I couldn't make up my mind which ones to include on this layout of our son Matt when he was little. So I just had to pile them all on! I just love this page and it just matches his personality to a tee!

Well, hope you enjoyed seeing my latest creations and hope you'll click here and go check out all the great new product The Ettes & Company have put together. They're awesome kits!

Be on the lookout for another great collection coming soon. I've gotten a look but I can't say a PEEP just yet....... You're going to love it!

Happy Valentine's Day!

It's that time of year again, to let all those people who are important in your life know how much you love them. Hopefully we're all letting them know that all the other days of the year as well. Anyway I thought I'd make a little card to spread a little love from me to all of you.

I made this card using the really cute :Loveable You kit from Ettes & Company. Head on over to their store and pick up the kit. It will make it easy for you to share a little love with your family and friends as well.

Remember I was telling you about the really cute recipe embellishment kit a few posts ago? Well I finally had a chance to play around with it and made this recipe book cover. The My Favorite Recipes Embellishment kit is just so darn cute! I just might have to make this my Christmas project for 2009!

As I was looking through more of my photos from my trip to China, I saw this picture, and just knew the papers and embellishments from the That's What Friends Are For kit would be perfect.

I still have to pinch myself every once in a while to remind myself that the trip really wasn't a dream. I had a once in a life time chance to go and I'm so glad I was able to do it.
I've got one more layout I wanted to share with you. This is a picture of Jeanna up at the lake when she was little. She was showing off her messy face after eating some beans and hotdogs. What a little mess she was.....but she still hammed it up for the camera as usual (and she still does, even though she's grown up!). Sometimes it would be nice to be able to go back and live those days over when it was the simplest things that gave us pleasure.

This page was made using papers and elements from the following kits by Melissa Bennett designs: Bianca, Flower Patch, Ziggity Zag.
Well, that's all for now....I'll be back soon to share some more of my pages. I made a resolution a few weeks ago (yeah, I know I was a little late with my New Years Resolution). What I decided was, I want to try and do a page a day! Haven't quite made my goal but pretty close! So I should finally have a really good scrapbook for myself by the end of the year. Finally...I kept giving all my other ones away!
Time for bed so I can get up and get another page done tomorrow! Happy Valentine's Day!
PS. Stay tuned for a couple more really great kits from Ettes & Company that will be hitting the store in the very near future. Your going to love them!

Just a Silly Page

I hate Monday's so I'm glad we have that behind us. And now it's almost time to move on to Wednesday which means we're almost half way to the weekend! Ok, so I was feeling a little silly so I had to create a silly page! Here's one of my daughters being silly trying to get ready for Halloween a few years ago. We laughed so hard! So here it is.....I hope you get a laugh out of it as well.

And I just have to tell you....I got a sneak peak at a couple of new kits that the Ettes&Company are going to be adding to their store soon. They are so stinkin' cute!!!! I can't wait to get my hands on them. One is sure to make your winter blues go away and the other looks ......well you'll just have to check back soon to see.

Stay tuned....I'll be posting an update soon! You're going to love them I just know it!
