Let the Festivities Begin......

That's right.....(Inter) National Scrapbook Day festivities have finally arrived! There's so much going on and so much I have to tell you so let's begin with one of my favorites. As I'm sure you're all aware, I am a huge fan of Ettes & Company. I was so excited when I found out that they were going to allow me to create a quick page to give away for FREE during the NSD festivities. Here it is! It was created using one of the 3 (yes that's right! 3) new kits that were just added to the Ettes store this week! This kit is called Magical Memories. It really is magical what you can do with it! I hope you like it! Just click here to download the FREE file! If you want the kit it can be found here.

Note: link to download has been disable.

Need a little inspiration on how to use the quick page? Here's a layout I created with it called Fun Times.

A couple of my fellow CT members also have some freebies for you. Go check out these blogs:

Tall, Dark, and Handsome is in the house!!!!

Okay, so....maybe not in the house but...the Tall, Dark, and Handsome Collection was just released by Ettes & Company today! It's such a fabulous kit! I'm sure you could create some fabulous pages about those tall, dark, and handsome men in your life! Here's some inspiration. I created these layouts using the kit. Every LO I created made me like the kit more and more.

This first LO is a picture of my husband and son at our son's wedding last summer. Aren't they handsome all spiffed up!

This next LO shows just how versatile their collection is. Although the theme of my LO has nothing to do with being tall, dark or handsome, it worked perfectly for this picture of the memory flowers on the alter at our son's wedding. The flowers were put there in rememberance of all our dear family members who are no longer here to spend these special moments with us.

I was even able to create this heritage LO with the collection. It's a picture of my dad on his confirmation day! Wasn't he a handsome one!

So go check out Tall, Dark, and Handsome at www.ettesandcompany.com. You won't be disappointed. Pick up the collection here.
I also want to give you a preview of a really cute new kit coming out soon by Colie's Corner Creations called Beautiful Day. You can find it soon at BTST.
Check out some of Colie's other kits...they are fabulous! Here's a LO I created with her new kit.

That's all for now......hope to see you in digi land soon!
Keep on a scrappin'!

I'm Back.........

Wow....sorry it's been a while since I've had a chance to give you an update. But so much excitement has happened in the last few weeks I don't know where to begin! As I told you in the last post, I've joined a couple other creative teams. Since that post I've been invited to be on two more creative teams! http://www.beentherescrappedthat.com and Calalily Designs . How amazing is that....who would have known 9 months ago when I decide to give digital scrapbooking a try that I would have the honor of being on 5 great teams! I'm so excited but very busy getting myself organized and a system in place to get it all done! So much for procrastination....that's now out the door. Organize, organize, organize....that's my new mantra! (Some day I'll be brave enough to actually post some photos of my not so organized craft room and you'll understand!)
Oh...there was one other exciting thing that happened too... My First Egg Hunt layout (created with the Blue Skies Collection from Ettes & Company), was featured in the current issue (Issue 6) of The Daily Scrapper! You can check it out here. It will be featured until April 10th.
Anyway....on to the fun stuff. Here's some inspiration from all the wonderful kits I've had the opportunity to work with the last couple of weeks.
I made this wedding planner for my future daughter in law using the Be My Guest Collection from Ettes and Company. What a great wedding collection they've created!

And from the Ettes Sweet Baby Girl Collection I was able to create these two layouts. It's such a beautiful kit and as you can see, not just for baby photos!
This month at Scrapable, I've been given the pleasure to work with a kit by Cherie Shields Designs called Pure Innocence. It's such a pretty kit!

At Been There Scrapped That I've been lucky enough to work with kits from several of their great designers. This layout for an album I'm doing for my friend's son, I used the awesome kit by Liz (Sweet Digi Scraps) called Boys Aloud.
This page was created using the awesome kit by a new designer at BTST, Sweet Tomato Designs. The kit is called Rocket Boy. It really is out of this world!

Another new designer at BTST is Heckenzwerge Designs. She has some fabulous templates to create wordalbums. Here's the Girl one that I did. I used Liz (Sweet Digi Scrap)'s Fruit Punch kit along with the template. It turned out so cute.
Using Liz's Fruit Punch kit again I created another layout for my friend's son's book. Doesn't he look so cute! This kit is so versatile! I love it!
The March Collab - Early Spring at My Life and Scrap is a great buy as well as a great kit. I created this layout from the kit as swell as my Night Scapes layout in the previous post. How adorable he is in that great hat!

MLAS has a new designer as well, My Creative Pixels. Jaimie is fabulous and I was able to create this layout with her kit called Shabby Boy. What a great kit for those men and boys in your life.

And last...but definitely not least are the great kits from Calalily designs that I had the opportunity to work with. The first one is her new kit Out with Dad.

Boys Rule is another great kit from Calalily Designs that I used for this layout. I loved working with both of Sheena's kits. She is an awesome designer!

So....now you know what I've been up to! Stay tuned for more fun new kits from all the great designers that I get to work with! I'm so excited about all of them my head is still spinning......
Keep on scrappin........

Exciting News!

Did you happen to notice a few more blinkies on the right side of my blog? Yup that's right! I just got invited to participate on the site creative team for not one but two more online digital scrapbook stores! My Life and Scrap and Scrapable.I'm so excited. I'll officially start as of April 1st but I was so excited that I had to get started a little early! Here's a layout I did with the March Collab kit from the great designers at My Life and Scrap called Early Spring.

Click here to go check out the kit. It's awesome. And make sure you check back starting April 1st! I'll have many more layouts to share. Oh....I'm working on a hybrid project that I should have posted in the next couple of days. I can't wait to get it finished. Come back soon and check it out!

Hybrid is a blast!

Wow....is this winter ever going to end! I'm seriously getting really tired of the snow. Thought we were almost to spring and then Mother Nature decided to blast us with a little more snow and some colder temperatures once again. Oh well as least the Ettes gave us a challege that helped keep the winter blues away.
They asked us to see what we could come up with for hybrid projects using their digital kits. It was so much fun and I finally got the chance to use the Kaiser Craft board book that I'd had sitting around for a couple of months. My camera is starting to slowly die so the pictures aren't as good as I had hoped they would be but hopefully you'll get a good feel for what it looks like. It turned out so cute!

This project got me motivated. Now maybe I can finally get to working on the other 20+ albums I have laying around! I'm a little OCD when it comes to buying craft supplies. Just ask my family.....they've banned me from going to Archivers and Michaels! LOL

But seriously....you should go check out the Ettes & Company gallery. (click here) There is some really cute hybrid project created by other members of the creative team. You've got to check out the cute little boy onesies created by Mary Ruth. They are absolutely adorable. Fayette created a little mint tin mini album that is so cute. Check them all out! And while your there.....check in the shop. They've added some really cute card templates and invitation collections. I personally can't wait to give them a try. Who doesn't like getting a home made card! Hallmark can't beat that! Click here if you want to take a peak. I just know you won't be disappointed!

Well....off to create another hybrid project. They gave my creative mojo a boost so I'd better take advantage of it before it alludes me again!

Until next time.......see ya!
